Suitable For The Whole Family – Debut Full Band Album Out Now
[ Posted 21 June 2010 in Streep by Simon Streep ]
We’re proud to announce that our debut full band album, Suitable For The Whole Family, has finally been released! Launched on the 19th June 2010 at the Nassau Theatre, this album is our first professionally recorded album and it contains all our favourite songs from the past five years of being a band – covering topics from the global economy crisis, to animal’s rights, Disney princesses, shopping express queues, Anna Paquin, evil pirate captains and more, we feel there’s something for everyone, or at least something for everyone with a bit of a sense of humour.
If you’d like to order this album, you can do so by filling in the order form on our music page, or you can download our album digitally on iTunes USA, iTunes UK, Amazon.COM and Amazon.CO.UK – we’ll be adding more online stores soon, so be sure to check our music section for updates.
We’d like to thank all our friends, family and fans for your love and support on this exciting journey – we really do appreciate it. It’s no co-incidence that our album design uses the idea of family and community as a running theme – we realise the importance you all play in our lives, and we really couldn’t thank you enough!
This whole week our blog will be dedicated to the album and the album launch, so be sure to visit the blog to immerse yourself in the world of our new album. On Tuesday we’ll be posting the Suitable For The Whole Family Piracy Ad that we made for the album launch, on Wednesday you’ll be able to tuck into some photos from the album launch, on Thursday you can look forward to learning about the extra features on our album, and on Friday we’ll be releasing a special once off podcast explaining the hidden meanings of our album art.
But for now, click here to go to our music page and figure out how to get yourself a copy. And please use our blog to tell us what you think of it all – we’d love to hear your feedback!
