I could talk about what a great night the Ellington's gig was. I could talk about a great Magma Chicken Wrap at Kauai in Tygervalley. I could talk about Simon offending a local in the mall when he pointed out that it felt dead, like it was built on a graveyard. I could talk about the lady at the door of our gig venue refusing to believe I was in the band and wanting to charge me an entrance fee (apparently the suit didn't give it away). I could talk about Streep winning over what was a really metal crowd to our acoustic comedy approach. I could talk about a girl asking Simon if he would be "doing the actions" to our cover of  'Dammit Janet', to which he responded by asking if she was "doing the drugs". I could talk about how our fellow band Captain and the Caveman totally rocked their very first gig. I could talk about the Grand Slots gambling room right next to our stage in the club. I could talk about the mysterious blue coconut concoction in tot glasses that was kindly offered to us mid-set which we had no choice but to drink. I could talk about a VERY drunk girl who grabbed me on my way out and offered to do unspeakable things to our entire band. I could talk about a full-on fight that broke out at the entrance of the club next door, just as we were leaving.

But I'm not talking about any of that, because the club next door was called Danskraal.

DANSKRAAL

And that is way more awesome than anything else that happened on Saturday night.
