Sex, drugs and the strange things you find in the homes of those you trust.

When visiting an unfamiliar home (normally in the case of a newly acquired friend or acquaintance) the Indiana Jones part of my personality involuntarily comes to life, sparking a keen interest in what weird and wonderful artifacts might be hidden within this undiscovered territory. I often find myself distracted in conversation as my mind races over the possibilities: will they be dirty? clean? OCD? pets? CRT? LCD? PS3? 2%? Full Cream?

Home-made clinical trials

When my doctor told me that I had contracted what he likes to call: ‘The genuine flu’, I couldn’t help but panic a little on the inside. It wasn’t the fact that he likes to deliver his diagnoses through an evil looking ventriloquist’s doll (he’s actually quite talented) so much as all the bad press flu has been getting in the media lately, that left me feeling a bit unsettled. Would I need one of those bright yellow latex suits, as worn in the 90’s blockbuster ‘Outbreak’? Do pharmacies sell such items? Should I really have bought that illegally adopted North African Verbit Monkey from the train station this morning?
