On Sunday we risked melting in severe heat, and played Rocking The Daisies to a great crowd who somehow managed to avoid spontaneously bursting into flames in the incredibly hot Lemon Tree Theatre.  But before all this took place, we sat down and answered some questions for the Rocking The Daisies magazine, and we thought you might like to read them…

We’re almost a week away from next show, which means that if you haven’t seen us play before, you only have just over a week to learn our songs – because yes, we do expect a certain amount of singing along.  And if you can’t sing... then well, we guess in that case you have just over a week to practise clapping in time.

In the past we’ve been known as ‘those guys who did that thing on the Graham Norton Show’, or ‘those guys who did that thing about Steri Stumpies’ – but now, for the next while... we’re proud to be ‘those guys who did that thing for Idols’.

The other day we got an email from Mexico from someone called Nancy.  Nancy isn’t an incredibly Mexican name, but my surname is Afrikaans and I’ve never been to sokkie or worn socks so high that they're dangerously close to being reclassified as pants, so clearly name’s aren’t to be trusted.

It’s hard not to like Noot vir Noot.  It’s the only programme I’ve ever watched where contestants are expected to somehow guess songs from only hearing the first note of the tune in question.  Not even the world’s most musical clairvoyant would be able to manage such a thing, but somehow the guests seem to get it right.  Probably because every song seems to be Sexy Eyes.
