Greetings all you Idols fans...
[ Posted 8 December 2011 in Video by Simon Streep ]Our performance of We’re Never Going To Be (SA Idols) at the Idols Finale has finally made it onto YouTube. And because it’s a bit karaoke in nature, there’s now an easy way you can learn the words and sing-a-long. Long-time Streep fans will know that lyric memory loss is something I suffer from, so I might just give it another watch myself...
Hello YOU
[ Posted 7 December 2011 in Video by Simon Streep ]In our quest to become household names like ‘what’s her face and the great Heinz’, we are in the latest edition of the YOU magazine (8 December 2011). Page 64 to be precise. And page 65. It’s what the industry like to call a DPS. Double Page Spread. It could also stand for Dirty Pillow Slip, but it doesn’t.
So Much More To See (with lyrics)
[ Posted 6 December 2011 in Video by Simon Streep ]We love a challenge. But when we were sent a huge list of DStv’s highlights of the year and were asked to write a song using as many of them as possible whilst giving room for it to be serious, sombre, poignant, irreverent, celebratory, whimsical, playful and happy... all in 60 seconds... we’d be lying if we said we wondered whether it was actually possible.
The Secrecy Bill
[ Posted 24 November 2011 in Video by Simon Streep ]Inspired by recent events we stayed up late into the night and wrote this little song. Right click here to download the free MP3, or here to watch the video on YouTube.

New Video Coming Soon
[ Posted 13 September 2011 in Video by Simon Streep ]A lot of people have been asking us, "When are you going to release a music video?", and even though these people don't actually exist, if they did, we'd reply, "Soon. Very soon."
The Brothers Streep on All Access
[ Posted 11 October 2010 in Video by Simon Streep ]About two months ago we were featured on M-net’s All Access. Even though it’s fairly old news, it’s quite new to us because we were away when it aired, so we only recently got to see it. For those that missed it, we finally managed to track down a copy and post it on YouTube – where it’s probably going to exist for a few days until someone discovers we’ve broken copyright law and we’re all arrested. If this happens, my request is that Kurt Darren replaces me in the band, and Dylan is replaced by Patricia Lewis.
Only Bath For You
[ Posted 14 July 2010 in Video by Simon Streep ]A while back I realised that I only tended to bath or shower if I was going to be seeing my girlfriend that day. We broke up ages ago, and now I haven’t actually bathed or showered for a good two years.
The documentary
[ Posted 25 June 2010 in Video by Simon Streep ]If you’re expecting a blog exploring the problem with point of view in the modern day documentary, or a blog critiquing the recent exploitation of the documentary genre in films such as Supersize Me and The March Of The Penguins, unfortunately this blog with be more specific. Way more specific. If you’re expecting a blog with a mini-documentary about the making of the new Brothers Streep album, then you’re in luck.
Piracy
[ Posted 22 June 2010 in Video by Simon Streep ]Piracy causes millions of artists to go bankrupt everyday. And by bankrupt I simply mean that they probably won’t be able to tip their limo drivers in diamonds anymore. And if this thought doesn’t anger you, then your soul is probably broken, and you’re more than likely currently downloading a new one on uTorrent.
